Hanlei Wang (she/they)


She is a queer artist, designer and filmmaker based in London.
 








 


Her works inhabit uncertain spaces where she observes her synesthesia sensation alchemizing materials into the meaning-making of audiovisual mediums, as a cryptic affirmation of intimacy, of exchange of codes beneath the surface. 







They recently graduated from Royal College of Art. Priorly, they studied Communication Design at Parsons School of Design, The New School.

A book design project I made when I was studying at Parsons School of Design, The New School. 

Second hand research, visual orchestration, book editing and design, final showcasing all by myself, as a queer feminist, based on the understanding of "A Cyborg Manifesto", an essay written by Donna Haraway and published in 1985.
